Apropos of the Final Fantasy VII boss theme from yesterday, above is the bad-ass (and better-sounding, really) rendition of the same theme, “Those Who Fight Further,” from Final Fantasy: Advent Children.

Reminds me that I need to pick up the Black Mages catalog one of these days. (The first, self-titled Mages album included the original Those Who Fight Further, but it’s closer to the game track and not nearly as metal.)
